Is it really free?
Yes. Your first mini-movie is free, with a small “CrayonMovie” mark on it. If you love it, you can get it without the mark and animate more drawings. No subscription.
What happens to the photo?
We use it only to make your animation. We delete the drawing after 7 days and the videos after 30 days. We never post it publicly, never sell it and never use it to train AI. Want it gone sooner? Reply to any of our emails.
Will it still look like my kid’s drawing?
That’s the whole point. We instruct the AI to keep the flat crayon style, the wobbly lines and the colors. AI isn’t perfect: if it gets it wrong, reply to the email and we’ll redo it.
Which drawings work best?
One or two clear characters work best: a person, an animal, a monster, a rocket. Crayons, markers, pencil, paint all work. Take the photo from straight above in daylight.
How long does it take?
Usually minutes. A real person checks every drawing first, so at night it can take a few hours. We’ll email you the moment it’s ready.
Is this an app for kids?
No, it’s for parents and grandparents. You must be 18+ to upload. Please send photos of drawings only, never photos of children.
